I’m Benny Osorio

I’m an artisanal woodworker dedicated to creating unique and handcrafted home goods. My passion for woodworking began while working in one of New York’s beautiful parks. As trees were cut down due to necessity I noticed the beauty its their rings and grain patterns, I thought of how I could share that beauty with the world. That passion has evolved into a full-fledged craft that I cherish deeply.

My journey as a self-taught artisanal woodworker has been a labor of love, born from a lifelong fascination of creating something beautiful out of raw materials.

What began as a hobby in a small basement workshop quickly evolved into a full-fledged pursuit in sharing nature’s beauty with the world. My commitment to this craft is driven by a desire to create unique, functional art that brings joy and warmth to people’s homes. Along the way, I’ve attended workshops, read countless books, and absorbed insights from the vibrant woodworking community online. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring nature, which fuels my creativity and inspires my organic designs. I'm also an avid gardener, finding parallels between nurturing plants and shaping wood, both requiring patience and care.

Every piece I create is thoughtfully designed and made, using high-quality, local and exotic wood.

I believe in the beauty of natural materials, and I strive to highlight their distinct characteristics grains, textures, and colors within my work.

I specialize in various home goods, including:

cutting boards, knife blocks, rolling pins, gnocchi boards, and dough cutters/bench scrapers.
